I’m reminded of my college engineering days at University of Lowell (Umass Lowell). I was a Junior taking Fluid Mechanics, a required and nasty course. Our professor, Dr. Zilberberg, had just passed back our first exam. The class average was about a 20 (out of 100). I was an average student.
The professor was ticked, and in his heavy Russian accent said, “You should reconsider your major!”
I’ll never forget it. Here we were in our third year of our engineering degrees and he tells us to reconsider our major!? What an A**.
Ultimately I passed his class (C?) but never thought much of Dr. Z from that day forward because he tried to scare me into doing better.
Imagine what I think of our government. F**k them.
