BMG Exclusive! Deval Patrick’s “web only” ad

September 25, 2006 By David

BMG is proud to present the world premiere of the Deval Patrick/Tim Murray campaign’s latest 30-second ad, this one for internet users only:

UPDATE: Sorry about those who couldn’t view the ad earlier.  It should be fixed now.  For logistical reasons, we had to have the ad not be accessible until the great unveiling at tonight’s BMG Unity Party.

FURTHER UPDATE (Tuesday morning): *sigh* Now all of YouTube seems to be down.  Sorry …

ANOTHER UPDATE (Tuesday afternoon): all seems to be back in order.  Apparently there was some bizarre “routing problem” that caused a lot of people who use Comcast (myself included) to have all kinds of difficulties, including BMG, YouTube, Google, etc.  These internets sure are mysterious.

I’m getting an error message on the YouTube site: “This is a private video. If you have been sent this video, please make sure you accept the sender’s friend request.”

I can’t see the video, either.  When I click on the image to see it at the YouTube site, I get a message saying it is a “private” video for which I need to be “friended” by the creator.

      Can this be made public?

Does a downloadable version of this exist somewhere?
    YouTube makes me wretch.

This ad is currently f.cked, and it’s too bad because I’d love to see it.

I am sure they will have it fixed soon.

More of Patrick’s central primary theme, with a bigger focus on getting rid of the “Big Dig Culture” from his primary night speech.

Too much of Patrick too little of Murray, show that its really a Patrick-Murray ticket, like the primary speech clips though, Id say right now its 85% Deval, 15% Murray, should be closer to 75/25. Deval is who people are voting for but if we were serious about Murray getting other voters in we need both parts of the ticket included.

…they may have Murray campaign separately in his base to get his word out. Remember that most people vote for the top of the ticket, so if you spend say 22 seconds on Patrick and 8 on Murray, you risk losing focus altogether.

As far as I’m concerned, the DP/TM videos should say once, loudly and with supporting captions, two words: “Murray” and “Worcester” while showing a spot of Tim. They do that, they’ve got the Central Mass contingent covered.

Why not run this one on TV and reach the masses?  It is highly emotive – Deval at his best and gives the audience the feeling they were in the room with him that night – you feel the excitement and energy…

Her TV ad which mentions her father is something to attack!

    <

    p>
She leads citizens to believe her father was disabled while in the military, yet he had the heart-attack as a civilian.

    <

Don’t let it slide.  When i have made it plain to many that she wraps her father FALSELY into a misleading package for her gain, people are very, very negative.

    Hit this!

Yes we know it is not true, but going after an opponents’ representation of her father seems pretty low to me. I would avoid that tactic.

There seems to be a bit of that going around this blog.  Slightly troll-ish comments made by people with spankin’ new UIDs.

Anyone find it very odd that YouTube is down and as far as I can tell Google is completely down. Anyone know anything about this?

There was a regionwide routing issue of some sort this morning. My company had this issue this morning.
