Kerry Healey has become such a fervent Dick Cheney supporter, and vice versa, that it appears the two are now almost indistinguishable. In an effusive speech, Healey-Cheney welcomed Cheney-Healey to the Commonwealth, and applauded the new standards he has set for government honesty, political discourse, and separation between personal enrichment and public service during his time in Washington. She also noted his vigorous efforts on Global Warming and environmental protection. Cheney-Healey said he is sure if Healey-Cheney is elected Governor she will do her utmost to bring to Massachusetts the same idealistic program of self-sacrifice and dedication to the least fortunate that has characterized his internationally acclaimed tenure in the White House.
