Kim Atkins has posted excerpts of the Herald Editorial Board’s meetings with Deval Patrick and Tom Reilly. While the paper ran Kim’s article about the meetings today, these blog entries are perfect examples of why such blogs are excellent. They give news outlets opportunities to share things that would otherwise never see the light of day.
While I will register a standard complaint that there’s not enough substantive political coverage in the news today, I commend the Herald and Kim for posting these additional nuggets.

And yes, the LG candidates sat with us late last week. I just haven’t had a chance to post some nuggets from those sit-downs on the blog yet, but I intend to. (I was there for all ed boards except the one with Deb Goldberg, but she was nice enough to talk to me afterwards so all my bases will be covered.)

I’m probably one the few people left that I know who actually get up earlier than he has to to have time to read the paper and have a regular breakfast at home, so it’s nice to see that the effort we put in here is read too!
