I have tried to stay out of the BMG mix the past months and quietly read the discussions of the self absorbed left wing who really shy away from any argument that has a basic logic. The BMG joke endorsement a month before was to me quite comical and reinforced my opinions.
Nevertheless, Karl Rove and Tom Reilly are very similar in their analysis of the electorate. Both of them connected with the silent majority who showed up on election day because they, like me, have been scared off by the kool aid drinkers, PC and Global Warming Nazis and other “know it alls” who “frankly” don’t relate to the common folk. Tom pushed taxes, public safety, general middle of the road position on all other issues . Combined with this secret weapon was the 20 years of personal relationships which set up a robust loyal field organization on election day. Sorry bloggers but those are the only poll numbers that count.And please, lets not once again claim that the election was stolen.
