Wow is about all you can say! Outspent 5 to 1…running in a primary against an opponent that was endorsed by the national party…and you kick butt by more than 15 points! Here is the story
This is major news for the netroots movement and shows how people power can change politics. Here are a couple of diaries from dailykos. This could be a big race…IF THE NET ROOTS gets behind Carol Shea-Porter.
While we are focused on winning the Governor’s seat in MA. We have to open our wallets just a little and help win Congress back

I hadn’t followed this race much. There was the funny business about one of the other candidates, Dodds, disappearing for a while after a car accident. Shea-Porter has some passionate fans on DKos and MyDD, whom it appears should have been taken more seriously.

I second Frank’s call to throw some spare change in Shea-Porter’s direction. (Can she be added to the BMG ActBlue page?) She is certainly a longshot to defeat Bradley, but there was basically no way she was supposed to beat Craig so we can see that something unusual is going on. Even if she loses, she can establish Bradley’s vulnerability for future cycles.

Bradley is personally corrupt as well as a Republican tool, by the way — you can find any number of stories about him by googling.

Finally, there’s detailed analysis of the primary race on this site, from a political science prof at St. Anselm’s. Apparently Shea-Porter was able to expand her geographical base far beyond her home area along the coast, presumably by good old-fashioned campaigning.

(Finally, don’t forget Hodes in NH-02, who has a serious chance of winning the general.)

Thanks! We’re getting close to $1000 total on that page — maybe after the primary you can find room for a link to it from the BMG front page?
