The primary campaign wasn’t cheap. Deval Patrick raised, and spent, over $5 million to change politics in Massachusetts. In addition to our voluteer hours he needs our bucks. The campaign’s bank account is a little anemic and we need to start filling it up. Please contribute what you can today and keep in mind that Healey is ready with about $8 million in the bank and a promise to spend more.
If we really want to change politics in Massachusetts and end this horrid Republican streak we need to have every resource available. We are going to need to be able to counter Healey’s barrage of negative ads with a few responses of our own. I know that a huge piece of Patrick’s victory on Tuesday was the 14,000 or so volunteers but we need to be realistic. Campaigns cost money.
