If you weren’t in the house last night, fear not: you can watch President Clinton’s entire speech over at DPTV.
It’s … um … not short (25 minutes or so), but it’s worth watching the whole thing. Clinton is, of course, one of the best political speakers of modern times. He rarely raised his voice above the level of conversation. But he was compelling, and he had a lot of interesting stuff to say not only about Deval Patrick and this race, but about what’s going on in politics nationally right now, and what we can do about it. There was a lot about the importance of civility and community. Particularly gratifying was his riff on the virtues of the “reality-based” world!

That was a great, great speech.

Anyway, when is the full speech from the Common going to be up on DPTV, too?
What a thoughtful, inspiring speech. No one can hold a candle to the big dog.
He is the best political speaker of our time.
