Outside of the level of saturation this money will buy, this is an amazing vote of confidence from the DCCC, propelling this race into one of the nation’s top contests.
This essentially matches all the campaign money Hodes has spent to date.
My feeling is that if we can run a decent GOTV operation, this one is all over for Charlie but for the crying.
If you want to help out, contact patrick@hodesforcongress.com. I think we’re doing door-knockers this weekend, which easy, fun, social, and effective. Other people have done much of the tiring voter ID work, this is where it all comes together….
Thanks again for listening….
[No conflict of interest here, BTW, I volunteer for the campaign, but don’t work for them. I’m genuinely amazed at how this race has taken off in the past 5 weeks]

Good luck getting rid of this poster child of neaderthalism.

We really do. This guy is an embarrasment to us in 02. It will be good to be able to not have to apologize about him after Nov 7.

Thanks again!

(Sorry, it’s like invasion of NH-02 around here. Like keener, I am a volunteer there.)

And you won’t be sorry to get Paul Hodes, because he will be amazing.

Similarly, if you’re thinking of doing any Hodes GOTV, I’ll just say that you couldn’t wish for a nicer campaign staff to work with.

It occurs to me it’s only a canary if you’re a Republican (and you’re getting gassed).

Politically, at least.

Now, if you guys could help the Dems pick up some seats in the NH General Court (both House and Senate) that would be a big boost. Both chambers have pretty solid GOP majorities, and bringing in some Dems might help encourage NH to do more than RGGI* for the environment, might help with social programs, etc.

I’m not advocating for the strong arm of government to become overbearing, but I am an enviro-geek and I’m sick of the great big hole in Northeastern environmental policy that is New Hampshire. I can’t tell you how many state initiatives have included CA/OR/WA but also NJ/NY/CT/RI/MA/VT/ /ME. That empty spot is NH.
<
p>
So, what do you think? Will this competitive US House race help some Dems win in the NH lege?
<
p> * Yes, I know that the big hole in RGGI is Massachusetts, and that NH has indeed signed on. I do find this quite embarrassing. However, on nearly every other environmental initiative, NH is the least likely to sign on.
