I recently received what I am sure will be an endless stream of the Healey Hillman attack mailings. Pretty disgusting stuff and I bet you are getting it to. So I thought what if on every Wednesday and Friday the People of Massachusetts call the Healey campaign (or fax them or Email) and politely, with respect talk to as many people as you can at her headquarters about why Kerry Healy won’t have a debate about Ideas and why you think negative campaigning serves no one. The idea is to flood her campaign office so they get the message. Move On.Org did this a few times and it worked. Sometimes an idea like this catches fire over the internet and within days 10s of thousands of people will have seen it and are doing it. So what do you think? Call (617) 523-0844 OR www.healycommittee.com. To paraphrase the old Election Day joke Call early and call often each Wednesday and Friday from now until the campaign ends. See if we can send them a message that is kind of campaigning is no longer acceptable.

Unfortunately, I don’t think the Republicans are going to turn their backs on the strategy that got all those Bushes elected.

But if you join the Democrats’ phone banking, you can make the same points to other voters, and they will in turn deliver the message to the Healey campaign on November 7th.

So lets spend Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday calling for Deval also. The problem is the Healey campaign doesn’t know its a pig, not that I am suggesting we remind them but that we suggest they not drag the campaign into the Pigsty.
