It attacks Deval Patrick for defending a cop killer and getting the guy a reduced sentence. I saw this commercial last night During CSI (I think) (Boy I wish I could DVR CSI and Grays Anatomy at the same time so I could skip commercials on both of them)
SO now Healey is blasting Deval for doing his job.
I guess the Healey campaign wants us to forget that the job of a defense atty is to, well, er, um DEFEND his or her client like it or not, guilty or not.
Had Deval done anything less, at best he would be labeled a bad attorney at worst be disbarred.
Sadly, many who watch the commercial will be too ignorant to see through the attack. Healey is counting on an ignorant voter… How ignorant.
