ABC News last night ran a story on the Massachusetts Governor race. While I think they were kind of sloppy and mischaracterized what Deval Patrick is about, it included one hum dinger of a quote from Kerry Healey.
When discussing the ad that has been described in the Washington Post as “vicious as we’ve seen this cycle”, the infamous parking lot ad. Healey describes it at 2:09 of the video:
“It’s not a negative ad, it’s negative information”
See it’s not a negative ad at all.
The question is why continue to parse words and telling half truths. It’s not working, her negatives are skyrocketing, it’s just pathetic.
The ABC story went on to say how the negative ads are backfiring on Healey and shows interviews from people that find it insulting and turned off by her tone.
