The AP’s Glen Johnson has written up a nice summary of Kerry Healey’s little problem with flip-flopping.
For Kerry Healey, it’s increasingly, “I’ll do as I say, not as I said.”
The Republican is asking voters to support her for governor this fall while ignoring some of the things she said or did since being elected lieutenant governor in 2002, or when she ran for state representative in 2000.
He goes on to list several issues on which she now says she disagreed with Romney, although she remained silent at the time (emergency contraception, stem cell research, and civil unions for gay couples), as well as issues where her own positions have “evolved” — to the tune of a 180-degree reversal — such as CORI access and MCAS as a graduation requirement, as our ongoing series has documented.
Nice job, Glen.
