Sunday was interesting as it started off with catching some of the John Keller interview with Muffy, moved on to Deval on the Common and ended up with the nightly news wrap up. It was all about body language. Is it me or is Muffy leaning forward a bit, her head hanging out more and while the mouth recites her sound bites her eyes are tired and autonomic. Deval on the other hand is standing erect, head held high looking straight out with clear focus with that gift he has of making every one feel he is taking directly to you. It became clear on Friday that Muffy was getting the reportorial third degree for her gutter politics while Deval had found his stride again. Brings up the question of while it is easy to throw a punch it is a lot harder to receive one. I expect that Muffy will continue to wear down as Deval stands taller.
The supporters savored the [kool-aid’s][punch’s] aftertaste.
