So far, 5,000 unique visitors have stopped by BMG for their election day blogging fix. Needless to say, we expect traffic to surge this evening as results begin to come in. We almost hit 10,000 visitors on primary night. Think we’ll go over the top tonight?
Meanwhile, we’re still blogging away at the Berkman Center. Shai Sachs (DFA Cambridge) is with us now; Lisa Williams (H2Otown) just left; and we had a few other visitors (as well as a videographer) stop by earlier. We’ll probably be here for another hour or so; stop by if you’re in the neighborhood.
Please share widely!

Kick it back, whydoncha. At least you get to save your voice. I’ll be lucky to reach the party tonight without having to use a pad of paper and pencil to communicate. ;P (Hi Lisa and Shai!)

I’m bracing for the last wave of phone bankers…then we finish up here and I go collapse at home and sleep head into Boston for what promises to be the finish to a 24-hour+ day. If it wasn’t for the historic euphoria that I simply cannot miss I seriously would think about having an early night. Yeah, I’m bitchin’…it won’t stop til someone buys me a drink. đŸ˜‰

We should seriously all figure out a way to meet up at the Hynes. I’ll be leaving Lowell at around 8:15/8:30 tonight.

I agree — did anything ever come of those suggestions that a smaller venue, easier to find each other in and in walking distance, be chosen for the consumption of beverages?

Just voted in Arlington tonight. Crowd was moderate but poll workers report it was very heavy this morning. It seems people voted early, hopefully to elect Jim Webb and send George Allen packing. There are reports that turnout in Virginia is running at a record 65% today.
