Deval Patrick’s call to increase civic engagement, and his creation of a transition working group focusing on that issue alone, has generated some interest in the media. Jon Keller did a story on Channel 4’s 6:00 news, and Fred Thys did a story on WBUR’s Morning Edition.
No doubt about it: people noticed what Patrick was saying during the campaign about this subject, and they’re looking to see if he can pull it off.
