As I drove west on the Mass Pike this morning and was somewhere on the ten mile stretch between Auburn and Sturbridge, WBUR Faded out, but before it did, I heard Carl Kasell say that the state is not allowing the feds in to investigate the blast site.
Actually, I read it first in the Globe on Saturday or Sunday but to hear it on NPR “top of the hour” was a surprise!
What is this all about? The press is making this out to be a pissing contest between the state and the feds and it sounds like one of those night time dramas where the FBI and Big city police clash over jurisdiction….
Neither the Globe article nor the NPR bit shed any light on the “why”…
