I just finished watching the HBO documentary entitled Hacking Democracy which highlighted the vulnerability of computers involved in counting votes during elections. Towards the end, the major focus was on the Diebold machines which are sadly making an appearance here in MA. I know that there was a previous post regarding the documentary but I would like to encourage those who subscribe to HBO to make time to view the documentary. I know we have all heard of voting irregularities but this was beyond what I had actually imagined. It’s pretty darn frightening too! The documentary will air again tomorrow at 9AM on HBO. This is a well-done doc about Bev Harris and the scandal that is Diebold. I won’t give any of it away, but you must see what happened to officially certified voting machine printouts. A definite for anyone even remotely interested in our democracy. It should also be available on HBO on Demand at some point.
