Jill Stein catches four more endorsements

November 2, 2006 By the-green-monster

(disclosure:  posted by Stein campaign staff)

Jill Stein’s campaign for the secretary of state’s office continues to gather momentum.  Today, we learned of four more endorsements:

Pittsfield Gazette

Cambridge Chronicle

Brookline TAB

Marry in Massachusetts

Here’s the full text of the Pittsfield Gazette editorial:

SECRETARY OF STATE. Jill Stein is intelligent, ethical and clearly interested in the role this office should play in empowering the people. She may be the worthiest candidate on the ballot in any statewide race.  Incumbent Bill Galvin, the state’s chief election officer, gallingly declined to debate his primary opponent or Stein. Galvin has assigned a low priority to election issues and a high priority to his old-boys network and partisanship, including creating jobs for supporters such as former Mayor Gerald Doyle Jr. Galvin’s laissez faire attitude toward election-machine concerns is vexing.

Stay tuned for more exciting developments later this evening…

What is that supposed to mean? You had a choice between a Democrat and a Green/Rainbow, and you couldn’t bring yourself to vote R, (which I assume means Republican)??
