In the meantime, I found the link to Judge Ponsor’s 106-page scathing ruling of 1/27/06. I strongly urge anyone interested in the welfare of the mentally ill — and mentally ill children in particular — to review this document and then tell me how he could not find Romney in contempt:
It is going to cost this state a LOT more money if Ponsor decides to begin taking over the children’s mental health system a la the MWRA after the Boston Harbor litigation.
Since Romeny has no shame in giving us all the collective finger as he heads out the door, the legislature needs to step up to the plate and come back into emergency session. His Expediency got this opening because of the failure to override Romney’s veto authorizing use of the Rainy Day Fund to cover a deficit.
