Romney submits the Community College paperwork

November 28, 2006 By sunderlandroad

Following up on my previous post, just got word that Mitt Romney has now submitted the paperwork to move forward on funding the MCCC contract with the Community Colleges.  Last I heard, at least one campus had voted to go on Work To Rule, and others will be considering a vote on it in the near future.  Don’t know if this will change anything, but the fact is, there are a couple more steps in the process.  The funding mechanism for the Community College professional staff and faculty is very unweildy, and needs to be changed.

I appreciate the good vibes from BMG, and thanks to those who created this blog, making it possible to put out the information.

Fingers crossed for the next steps in the process . . .
