    • He said the spots that showed a beaming Mr. Murray in front of a big group of schoolchildren, chanting “Hurry, hurry, vote for Murray,” were effective, though perhaps not for the price. Mr. O’Brien also let on that Mr. Murray used the same catchy, but admittedly corny, slogan for his campaign for sixth-grade class president many years ago.
