Twas Christmas Eve at the Herald, and all of the elves were rushing to finish their stories before they left for the holiday:
Howie Carr: “Hacks, hacks, they’re all hacks. I hope all those pony-tailed Devalista moonbats catch pneumonia at their stupid little outdoor coronation. Bah, humbug.”
Casey Ross: “Hey this new blog thing they gave me for Christmas is really cool. I can say just about whatever I want! Let’s see, ‘Some state house insiders have speculated that Deval Patrick’s real reason for inviting the legislature to lunch was so that he could sneak a batch of e-coli infested lettuce into Majority Leader Travaglini’s caesar salad’. Yea, that sounds good.”
Virginia Buckingham: “In yet another break from established Massachusetts political tradition, incoming Governor Deval Patrick has chosen to actually speak to the legislative rather than allow them to play their usual role as scapegoats for lack of progress on key issues. This misguided strategy will surely backfire, as the time wasted consulting with the legislature could be better put to use polishing his resume for the job he REALLY wants.”
