Elder care has been reduced to an industry.
The family cares for it’s elders no more.
The family NEEDS it’s two breadwinners. They have neither the time nor resources to provide care for their aging parents. Industry however has stepping in. There are limits on income, the searches going years back on all financial transactions yet the rich who really don’t need financial assistance slip through “loophole” after “loophole” simply because they can PAY for the financial advice NEEDED to navigate the crisis regular prole families can’t afford.
That is one reason why I’m not celebrating the “Dems” return to control.
