In a perhaps brilliant but potentially disastrous roll of the dice DemsForRomney have learned from a source within the Romney camp that they planted the now infamous YouTube video.
Our source tells us that they (the Romney team) calculated that getting this video out now and controlling its release with a rapid fire rebuttal would be better than it coming out much later in the campaign when more people were paying attention.
Who knows how it will turn out but it just breaks my heart to read the responses I seen from some my co-patriot bloggers.
From IHeartMitt on http://blog.electrom…
“What! That two timing bastard. I hate you Mitt. I hate you and your former gay loving, pro-choice self. And I don’t think too kindly of you now”
From MittIsIt on RedState.com
“If the quote fits you must quit”
From Mike Johnson on http://blog.electrom…
“Mitt say it ain’t so. I thought you were still pro-choice. During you 2002 run for governor you said you would protect a women’s right to choose.”
then it was a brilliant move. He knew it would appear eventually, and by doing it himself he could control the circumstances and have a response ready.

In Hardball (the book, not the show) Chris Matthews I believe dedicates a whole chapter to Hanging a Lantern on the Problem. Say what you will about his policies, but his politics have been great so far. I can’t wait for the first TV ads with him signing the health care legislation in Faneuil Hall. If that wasn’t a made for TV moment I haven’t ever seen one. Well, I guess the lone walk with a couple hundred of his biggest supporters would be one too. When can we expect that one to hit the airwaves?
Look at the other videos from the person who posted it.

One of his/her favorites is the Allen Macaca video and a couple of video’s where McCain comes across not so well.

Me thinks something is fishy here.

The timing could not be more perfect for Romney, whether he leaked it or not. If this was a slow news week, it probably would have seen a lot more TV play on the news channels.
how “good” is your source?
Kerry Healey reliable?
