At Blue Hampshire, we currently have an article up called Use the Balance on Your Gift Card to Defeat Sununu. The idea is to take those pesky small balances left over on Simon Gift Cards that you got for Christmas, but couldn’t quite spend down to zero, and apply them to John Sununu’s defeat.
If anybody is carrying a small balance on a Simon Gift Card, and would like to help us NH-ites out, please read the article. You’ll feel great knowing you emptied the card for a good cause, and that a massive corporation is not profiting from the float on the couple of dollars you haven’t spent.
We’re also interested in expanding this idea to other races as well, so leave some comments about what you think of the idea, particulary if you are a Gift Card recipient — my feeling is that those people who are carrying small balances on these things get the idea instantly, but I don’t know for sure.
its a mall “owner”. That is, Simon owns a bunch of malls, and the gift card works in all their malls, or somesuch. I don’t know if it can be used elsewhere, but I suspect that it can, because its probably just a debit card.
