Mayor Charlie Ryan was eloquent as he lauded the Commonwealth on it’s rich history (along with Virginia) of leading our nation at it’s conception (Constitution) up to today’s vision of vitality that is the Patrick/Murray team. All the while, sharing Congressman Neal’s joke, that yes indeed, Charlie was peers with John Adams (…Charlie is well, older than the average bear).
Richie Neal was on his game adding some levity and optimism for the national political scene. Tim Murray spoke well and is a solid asset to the Patrick team…clearly at home on the stage where he stated that he received his law degree.
Deval’s best line (IMHO) was his explanation for why, when things get tough oversees for the US, it might have to do with non americans being irrate that we (the US) are not living up to our own ideals (paraphased)
