Word on the street is that the “bomb scare” in Boston today was a bunch of Lite Brite boxes with Cartoon Network Characters on it.
Okay.. if you are going to do a hoax that big can’t you at least put anti-war slogans on it or something!?
Please share widely!
It’s pretty clear now that these objects are Mooninites from Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Maybe its a prank by some MIT student with too much time. Maybe its guerilla marketing. Either way, its a stupid f’ing idea to attach electrical devices to bridges in a crowded city in the post-9/11 world.

p>After all the public safety expense and all the people who were forced to sit in traffic because of this childish stunt, I hope someone goes to jail for this.
BREAKING NEWS: Turner Broadcasting is expected to issue an apology for causing today’s series of bomb scares throughout Boston. A statement emailed to the Globe from Turner Broadcasting said: “The ‘packages’ in question are magnetic lights that pose no danger. They are part of an outdoor marketing campaign in 10 cities in support of Adult Swim’s animated television show Aqua Teen Hunger Force. They have been in place for two to three weeks in Boston, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Seattle, Portland, Austin, San Francisco, and Philadelphia. Parent company Turner Broadcasting is in contact with local and federal law enforcement on the exact locations of the billboards. We regret that they were mistakenly thought to pose any danger.”
I think Ted Turner should be brought up on charges.

No lawyer, no public hearing. I want a military court for this.

I’m asking everyone to sign my petition.

that Ted Turner is no longer the head of Turner Broadcasting, nor is he on the board anymore?
<

Or were you you just thinking of bringing him up on charges for an unrelated reason?
The Boston gov’t would have recognized these figures for what they were immediately, blown the rest of the day off and gone to Anna’s.
