Before his first full day in the office, Deval schlepped the garbage out to the curb. (Were photographers really camped outside his Milton home waiting for this momentous event?) That’s the Deval I know. He’s ready to do what needs to be done, and that includes taking out the trash.
A little later the press caught up with the new governor and asked him what he was going to discuss at his first cabinet meeting. His pleasant, and to the point, reply, “cabinet stuff.”
