I am ashamed to admit that yesterday I committed a BUI, Blogging Under the Influence.
I was working in the City yesterday, took a client to “lunch” at the cigar bar in the North End and had too many scotches. I then killed some time in the Starbucks near South Station while waiting for my train. This is when I committed the offense.
I read an article on the Boston Globe’s website and got all bent out of shape about Deval Patrick’s property tax circuit breaker. I created a post about this. The problem is that I misread the article. A sober read of the article happened this morning and I have little problem with the suggested circuit breaker.
I would like to thank sco, NoPolitician and sharonmg who took the time to point out my drunken mistake.
I will try to avoid making this mistake in the future, but in all honesty, I suspect it may happen again.
Kicked back a 40 or two and scoured news sites and BMG on a few occasions. The first step to solving your problem is admitting you have one, so good for you.
