On the HOME button at the bottom of the page: Clicking it automatically logs me off :(. However, I do end up back at the top of the main page. đŸ™‚
On Posting a Comment: Often lately, when I click “post a comment”, I get flipped to a weird ‘nowhere’ page. If I click the ‘back’ button, I usually end up on the comment window. I am certain that I am not double-clicking.

would do better as simple front-page posts. Nothing wrong with short stories. In fact, the nationals often do just fine with nothing more than “Open Thread.”

And I have just posted an Open Thread on the budget in your honor Steverino. As to Lynne’s comments, those lie with the SoapBlox gods. I am as mystified as you.

And lack of admin control of Soapblox, as well as its monthly cost, is why I am steering mucho mucho clear of it for my own upgrade. đŸ™‚

it just took me 6 tries to get a comment window to open and stable in another thread. ugh! raj – you better appreciate my comment for all that effort! đŸ™‚

Do you have some funny setting related to cookies in your browser? That’s the only thing I can think of — that for some reason when you jump from screen to screen, soapblox can’t find the cookie on the new screen, so it logs you out/won’t post the comment/whatever.

well, the comment window problem doesn;t happen every time, but the home click-log off thing might be explained that way. i’ll experiment with the settings &/or change browsers (I use Firefox) and let you know what happens. good suggestion, thx.

have other people come in and post diaries on Word Press, like you can on Soapblox? I’m thinking of setting up a blog for my hometown, and I’m exploring my options. I don’t just want it to be my blog, I want the whole community involved.
