I don’t normally bother people with my Lowell-area-centric WUML radio broadcasts, but I thought BMG folks might like to hear my interview with Rep. Jamie Eldridge this morning. The entire show is recorded, so at about 11:45 minutes in is the interview with Rep. Eldridge. If other candidates for this potential race come on my show I’ll try to cross-post the link then as well.
I’d also like to thank him for joining me this morning. It was fun. đŸ™‚
Please share widely!

For those of you who are not familiar with Jamie and his career, please consider listening to this. I’ve known Jamie for years and hope that other BMG readers will take the time to learn about him. Jamie and Lynne covered a wide variety of topics, from Jamie’s political work before he went into elective politics, his work as a lawyer before running for State Representative, the role of the Clean Elections Law in his career, his work in the House of Representatives, and what the hopes to accomplish, if the congressional seat were to become vacant.

For those who may have missed it, here is a post by Jamie about his interest in possibly running for Congress.

Also, see Charley’s post on the topic.

Rep. Eldridge is one of the best options among the other candidates for the congressional race, not only because he has done a great job as a state representative, but also because he has shown a strong commitment and has worked very hard in order to improve the life of the people in his district. I could talk to him during his office hours in a coffee shop in Acton and I was impressed by his commitment to help and his great ideas about important issues like education, economical development and enviromental issues.
He is a great guy!
