It all coincided with his fantastic announcement speech in Springfield, Illinois. We greatly appreciate your support and hope all of you will continue to be involved in the future. There was a pic in the Globe, as well as a mention in their article about Barack’s announcement (although they definitely undercounted us), and I think the Herald also covered the rally, if anyone is interested.
His website, www.barackobama.com, now has the full-fledged grassroots volunteer sign-up and activities components, somewhat similar to what Deval Patrick’s campaign used, so if you haven’t visited it yet or haven’t visited it lately, check it out and sign up.
Please share widely!

Hillary’s website also has a section where you can sign up to volunteer, write a guest-blog for the website, attend or create events in your area, or even start your own fundraising network. The notion that seems to be going around the blogosphere that her campaign is based entirely on money, inside politics and centrist organizations like the DLC is ridiculous, she’s relying heavily on the ground work done by every day volunteers just like other candidates.

I’m surprised that people think that Hillary thinks that she is “Entitled” to the presidency. Whoever thinks that clearly has no idea the extent to which this woman has worked her ass off everyday of her life to get where she is, and she will be the hardest working candidate in this race, mark my words. She has earned her place, and if she is elected President she will have earned that too.

If you want to make a post about Hillary, Hillary’s volunteers, or anything else regarding Hillary, write your own post. This post (I don’t believe) mentioned Hillary Clinton or claimed that she is “entitled to the presidency.”

Just saying.
