The staff of the Commonwealth Health Insurance Connector Authority (CHICA — has anyone else noticed that acronym yet?) has announced its recommended standards for “affordability” — i.e., for who has to pay a penalty for not having health insurance, and who doesn’t. The CHICA board will consider the recommendation tomorrow. Check it out. I haven’t got time to parse it; I’ll leave that to others better versed in these matters.
