So says Bill Richardson in one of his two hot-off-the-presses TV ads, released (I think) today. Richardson is reportedly the first Dem to hit the airwaves in New Hampshire and Iowa.
No, he didn’t raise $25 million, or even $15 million, last quarter. I still like the guy, though.

No it isn’t. The way that I have long put it is, the Bushies’ “stay the course” is the equivalent of the long line of lemmings following the lead lemming off the cliff. Stupid is as stupid does.

BTW, it appears that Paul Krugman in his last column has picked up on the “troops being hostages in Iraq for the petulent child American President” theme that I’ve been pounding here for a while. The column is an interesting read.
That would make a great ad if someone can manage the video editing. Edit a video of lemmings marching off a cliff to include audio clips of Bush saying “stay the course.” For real effect, put his face on one of the lemmings saying it just before falling.
I think Obama and Edwards are probably the best VP candidates we’ve ever had. If the race comes down to a credential and policy battle between Richardson and Clinton, we all win.
He did raise over $6 million, close to the previous non-incumbent record for the quarter that Edwards set of $7 million. I believe Richardson is the “2nd tier” candidate that will break out of the pack.

I’m a diehard Obama supporter, but my wife is a Richardson supporter (somewhat to play devil’s advocate, but she’s been interested in him since he visited her workplace 4 years ago) and we’ve both agreed that each other’s candidate would be a great VP.
