Here is the most telling quote from today’s Herald story regarding cooperation among city, state, and federal authorities in solving the Boston crime problem.
It’s made by D.A. Dan “Search and Avoid” Conley.
“The decision to prosecute federally or here in the commonwealth is something we’ve been working out together. That’s something we need to decide, not the city or the police department, quite frankly.”
Conley has a problem with the police trying to work with the feds.
Conley tells Commissioner to Davis to mind his own business.
Great Dan.
I remember the miracle of 15 years ago. It started out with a love fest and team effort by police, FBI, DEA, Immigration, Boston police, Suffolk county D.A. and US Attorney.
Seems to be just lip service now.
Federal sentencing helps a lot.
What’s the problem Dan?
