My Dear Laurel,
In reviewing the dialogue during the latter part of your dairy on the “John Howard Discourses,” I realized that I may have taken said discourse in a different direction than where you intended to go.
Oops. I am truly sorry if I committed ANY error that frustrated your intent, and if I misinterpreted your purpose in dialogue. If so, please forgive me, and remain my colleague in “fenced” dialogue! While we may disagree, it is NEVER my intent to frustrate a chosen path, and I think I did so this time around.
Being a mere man, as my lady is occasionally gleeful to point out, has its limitations!
