and to protect our nation. Yet he has failed to protect our borders from the countless millions of criminal immigrants that have crossed over into our sovereign nation. He has made little or no effort to manage this one, single, simple obligation of protecting his people. For this reason he should be impeached. It is treason.

He has failed to spend money responsibly causing our national debt to almost double since his taking office. Do you know how much debt our children will inherit due to this clown? Every man, woman and child in America has a debt obligation of almost $30 thousand through no fault of their own. For this Bush should be impeached.

Some people will say that you can not impeach a President for incompetence. I say that if he is competent enough to run and win two Presidentail elections than he is smart and competent enough to know to stop throwing money around like a drunken sailor and to protect the borders in this country as opposed to some other country. He knew the implications of big spending and failure to protect the borders – he just completely ignored them. Sounds like Bechtel Parsons and the Big Dig. George W Bush should be impeached.

George W. Bush was the single most improtant reason I left the Republican Party after 26 years of faithful service and joined a third party. Thanks for nothing George, and so much for compassionate conservative…

The authors of the constitution did not write “for high crimes, misdemeanors, and incompetence.”
I readily admit that my response is purely emotional when I question how the maimed soldiers in the video link do not qualify as evidence of “High Crimes”. I am appalled at the carnage of this unjust and unjustifiable war.

I wasn’t able to get the video to load. Firefox + Flashblock is mostly a good thing but it occasionally blocks me out of stuff.

The level of injury sustained by our troops in Iraq is horrendous — especially the head injuries. (You probably know the following.) Advances in battlefield medicine have meant that more troops are being rescued from death but surviving mangled.

The strategy, such as it is, makes no sense: no amount of military power is going to soften Shiite revanchism and without such softening, there’s always going to be an insurgency. We seem to be throwing people into the grinder just so certain Republicans and previously pro-war Democrats won’t lose face. It’s a moral calamity.

I think that Bush has committed more than enough high crimes, by the way, to merit impeachment. Violating the constitution and disobeying laws suffice.

…what constitutes “high crimes and misdemeanors” are whatever the Representatives and Senators say they are. The judiciary has nothing to say about it.
