Woof! The Regional Tourism Committee of Paris Ile-de-France has launched a campaign to attract Londoners to Paris. The Paris region will be hosting several World Cup matches, including the final at the Stade de France.

Added to the hideous logo for the 2012 Olympic Games, and the quirky/bizarre/pointless advertising campaigns of EUtube, I’m wondering if European advertising has become a self-referential artform rather than a motivator for allegiance and/or purchase.
