She’s eminently qualified, and it’s impressive that the administration is able to attract high quality private-sector talent. As her bio indicates, she has nothing to prove. She can also probably afford the pay cut, but who knows.
Just cuz I like these things, Fundrace shows she’s contributed a lot to Democrats.
And OCPF indicates that she contributed to the usual crowd of state candidates.
Overall, a great choice, IMHO.

Heard this news late yesterday and all reports so far are that this is a good choice. Remains to be seen what inside changes may result, but consensus is that finally making a decision was a good move by the governor. This one took a long time.
