Come join us at Laurie’s first debate. It is sure to be informative and entertaining and will give you a chance to see what the candidates are really made of.
The debate will begin at 7pm on Monday, August 6 in Building 114 on the corner of Chelsea St. and the Navy Yard’s 16th Street. Building 114 is a brick building with green trim at the northern most end of the Yard. There’s parking in the rear. If you go over the bridge, you’ve gone too far.
Introductions: Michael Jonas will introduce the candidates.
Organization questions: To begin; the three sponsoring organizations (CWC, CBA and FCNY) will each submit a question to be presented by
Michael.
Audience questions: Audience members will be supplied with pencils and paper to submit questions which will be collected and passed along to Michael based on relevance and community importance.
Time: Time to answer questions – 2 minutes per candidate.
Closing statements: 2 to 3 minutes per candidate, depending on time and number of candidates present. We would like to be inished by 9pm at the latest.
