I believe the farther away my tax dollars are sent, the less efficiently they are used. That is part of the reason I do not voluntarily pay the 5.8% state income tax rate.
If the typical democrat-voting BMGer is a Progressive, then Progressives are calling for more taxes. To your credit, there is healthy debate on where that increase should come from, how much it should be, and what it should be spent on. But that there should be a tax increase is beyond doubt.
