After the marriage vote, Lynpb and I sent thank you notes to the 151 good guys and gals in the lege, as well as to the Gov. and the Lt. Gov. One of those thank you’s went to Representative Brian Wallace. Someone must have been alert in the Rep’s office and recorded our names, because this week we received an invitation to a fundraiser.
I don’t know anything about his record except for his immensely appreciated change of heart on marriage equality. I’m not free to attend the event, but should I send him a few bucks? Interested in folks’ thoughts.
Please share widely!

“It doesn’t have to make sense,” Tom from BMG reported when Brian endorsed Muffy. (October 29, 2006)

I would save my money for Jim Marzilli’s senate campaign.

I wondered, given the late change of heart on marriage, if he was among the DINOs.

is he facing opposition in the next election? if not, then i personally wouldn’t give him money solely for doing the right thing. if, however, he faces a serious challenge for his marriage vote, then you should give him money. if he is facing a challenge, i think you may hear about it from massequality. they are remaining intact to help defend the defenders of equality through the next election. unless and until, what’s the rush for deciding? you are undoubtedly correct that his office is just being snappy and savvy.

…I think we’ll wait and see with Rep. Wallace.
