After that “announcement” appeared I had a followup discussion with my son about marketing techniques and memes, he is a senior in high school.
My problem is that things have been so f**$ed up for so f#&%ing long that it has become institutionalized into every area of life. United Health Care, one of the largest health insurance providers regularly scams people by denying benenfits causing the “insured” people to then fight back. The company was sued under the RICO status several years ago but United with boatloads of money for legal fees has it buried in the courts for years. And that is only one example of such widespread governmental non-functioning hubris which has spread from the federal all the way down to state and local governments.
My thought of the day is that some major disaster might well be the thing to wish for to bring relief from the torturous bullshit marketing points of TV.
What do you mean by that?
I have no idea what United Health Care has done to you.

But as to your apparent first theme, it should be obvious that GWBush anticipates stopping his equivalent of the German WWII Battle of the Bulge, at some unstated time before mid-summer 2008. The original number of Americans will still be over there, probably without British support.

Big deal. Dubya unleashed this problem. And he doesn’t know how to deal with it.

BTW, the ! before “love” is the “C” programming language for negation.
I believe this is the story of W's life in a nutshell. Taking responsibility seems never to have been a strong suit. Growing up he always had Daddy Bush to clean up after his mess — now he has the Dems (who presumably will win back the White House in '08).
The more I think about it, the more I wonder if the GOP game plan all along hasn't been to screw up the public perception of Federal government so badly, and make it so impossible for the Dems to fix that it completely undermines confidence in the both the Democratic party and role of the federal government in general. As always, the GOP mantra becomes “Government is bad; private enteprise will save us all (for a price, of course).”
Who better than a [sociopath http://www.hss.caltech.edu/~mcafee/Bin/sb.html] to be the front man for this little operation?
(And no, I'm not really claiming a grand conspiracy here, but it definitely would seem to be in the GOP's best interest if this came to pass.)
see things “differently”. Bush is on the my list as neither idiot nor incompetent but instead as one of Satan's higest placed evil minions. Whatever he does, says, thinks ,I take not at face value but as it's true, destroy America at all costs plan. Since corporate media, currently raking in billions from the war also supports him with propaganda.
Yes I do tend to foam at the mouth frequently. Observing a once great country being deliberately taken apart does that to a person.
Bullets, ah, yes, the formating required through the power of Microshaft's Power Point

Now, United Health. In collaboration with co-workers frequent stories are coming forward about the benefits not being paid. A co-worker posted a solution to his personal wrongful denial of benefits on the company email. That email prompted a flood of other complaints and stories of similar benefit denials whereupon the company shut down then prohibited further emails.
…you would not have to really use bullets.

I use indicators like (i), (ii), etc to indicate my various points. I don’t do Powerpoint, and I don’t do bulleting with HTML, but using indicators like those I have helps with outlining and separating the various points.

Thanks for the explanation about United Health. Question: is that the company run by Bill Frist’s family? You recall who he was, the former Senate majority leader. His family became quite wealthy through some health care company scam.

About the headline, a more accurate one would be
“Soldiers just sent to Iraq to be withdrawn in several months”
