Sorry about the attitude. I have always believed that most public officials get into the business because they really want to make a measurable positive change in the the lives of their constitutents. And get credit for it. The identification of and nurturing of inside advocates is one of the most important elements of a winning policy change campaign. Keep at it and thank you in advance.

That all being said, I HAD to attend the 9/26 hearing on h4191 and testify in favor of the many positives, while making what I hope were courteous suggestions about more good changes that could be made to our creaky, leaky, and generally unhelpful current child welfare laws.
