My heartfelt thanks to all who participated in our fabulously successful matching challenge for the Tsongas campaign. We had no trouble generating $500 in donations, so I will happily chip in my promised match tonight.
Don’t forget: there is lots more you can do. Of course, you can always donate more. You can also volunteer — here’s all the info you need about that.
And speaking of last-minute election pushes, we were tickled by some fuzzy math on Ogo’s website. Notice anything odd about this page?
Not even a Republican can cram 5 different days into 72 hours!
Please share widely!

A balanced-budget Democrat — was the Clinton Presidency really just seven years ago? — would have scheduled three days into that 72 hours. Not only does the Ogo campaign not know where they stand on an important issue like SCHIP, they can’t even count. Tragic, really.

That he doesn’t say that he’s a Republican anywhere on his webpage? The choice of color (blue) is interesting. Still waiting for that “Issues” link.

that if you sign up, you’re required to work only 72 hours total in those five days.

As for the match, I was happy to do my part to slim down your wallet. Can’t wait to see the ActBlue page hit four figures for Niki.

…I doubt very seriously that even Ogonowski would want people being called at two o’clock in the morning.

72 hours divided by five days is something on the order of 14 hours a day. Like 8AM to 10PM.
