Although Gov. Schwarzenegger has twice vetoed the Religious Freedom and Civil Marriage Protection Act (AB 43), he has recently signed other legislation that protects and supports LGBT Californians. Consequently, this is a perfect moment to get people talking about fairness for all families.
Towards this end, Equality California is airing THIS NEW AD that is putting viewers in the shoes of gay and lesbian couples who are prevented from marrying the person that they love.

there was an ad out last year showing a guy going door to door, asking each person whether he could marry his girlfriend. like the present ad, that one put straight people in the shoes of gay people who have to ask every vote if we can get married. the current ad does with heartstrings what that ad did with humor.
