I’ve never had a punching bag jump right in front of me, begging to be punched. Usually I have to search one out.
Punching bags don’t punch back. That frequently tempts those who train with them not to quickly pull back the punching hand to the correct defensive posture. Leaving your right paw glued to the bag is a good way to train yourself to get nailed by a left hook.
