The Phoenix is the latest to endorse Niki Tsongas. As posted earlier, The Boston Globe and the conservative Lowell Sun have already endorsed Niki. The Phoenix gives a no holds bared editorial.
Niki Tsongas and Jim Ogonowski, offer distinct visions for the future: an end to the war in Iraq and the prolonging of it; a path to health-care reform and the obstruction of it; a rational immigration policy and the spewing of empty rhetoric.
Boston Herald where are you to bail out Ogonowksi? Washington Times? Maybe NewsMax. Someone, anyone.

The Eagle Tribune just endorsed Ogonowski. Not sure if that counts as a “major” media outlet, but I’m sure it matters more than the endorsement of the Massachusetts Federation of Republican Women Newsletter.

Not that it is going to change the outcome of the race. Tsongas is going to take this one in a walk.
Nothing shocking. I’m still bugged by this:

Most importantly, Ogonowski has great respect for the rule of law. He opposes same-sex marriage and believes the people should have been allowed to vote on a ballot question to amend the state constitution. Had that vote occurred and gone against his views, Ogonowski says he would consider the matter settled.

If he believes in rule of law, the matter IS settled.
… it doesn’t help Ogonowski one bit, but it does help discredit some of the bigots making the editorial decisions at that place, and making it seem like a really hackish, conservative rag that makes the Boston Herald and Jeff Jacoby all look good.
D’oh!
