My only thought on Nader is why does he always need attention. I guess Halloween is as good a time as any to get this complete buffoon more press coverage.

Nader’s “decision” on to run in ’08, I’m on the edge of my seat.
<

What an idiot.

Nader didn’t cost Gore the election, nor did he cost Kerry. He got out the kids and the crazies, similar to the LaRouche’s, Paul’s etc.

Better check the Tv guide. I think it started without you.

Let me get this straight.
You couldn’t figure out this gag poll but you want to comment on national politics and call other people crazies? Uh-huh.

I’ll simplify it for you, I didn’t like the choices of the poll. Hopefully that help you, as they say, sharp as a bowling ball.
<

You believe that Nader is the answer? Not a complete buffoon looking for attention. American’s answer is Ralph Nader. Wow, that’s beyond stupid. Good luck with that.

In a representational government YOU get to decide what represents YOUR view. If you are happy with the choices provided, than by all means go ahead and select one of them, you are being served so you should have nothing to complain about. Everything is going exactly as you would have hoped. Enjoy.
If I, like others, feel that my best choice can only be the one that can clearly state that neither of the supplied choices is even CAPABLE of represnting me than an obvious choice needs to be made.
You can argue lesser of evils all you want but you are just legitimizing the inadequacies and denying your own existence.

If the poll options do not get to the meat of the issue and let people voice their opinions without some sophmoric attempt at humor than there should not be any room for them here at BMG.

Let’s stop this poll insanity now!

I agree, but only on the condition that the same applies to the polls on the second Tuesday of Novemeber.

I have no issue with third party candidates, I have issue with some candidates who run under a third party. It appears that you don’t understand the difference,

Nader is a parody on to himself, his grand announcement to run in ’08 is a joke as well and his suit. IMO he’s just an attention getting buffoon. It might not be why he started doing this, but it is now the end result. I think the man needs to take a long look at himself and what he has become.
he certainly was the difference between Gore winning Florida and Bush. Now, Gore should have done more work to make sure that wasn’t the case (mainly in his home state, which he lost – and that also cost him the election), but he still was the difference.
johnksays
Most of the Nader votes were not going to Gore anyway. Hard to say for sure, but I’m on the side that those people would have stayed home or are the usual 3rd party votes that weren’t going with Gore. It’s Gore’s fault he didn’t win, tossing a football and looking presidential or getting an army in FL and pushing press coverage to your side? Plus, having the Supreme Court on your side didn’t hurt.
<

It shouldn’t have some to Florida to begin with, in my opinion Gore just didn’t run a good campaign and lost. He was clearly the best candidate.
